Sean Kirk is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution team, specialising in commercial; employment; property and probate disputes.

Sean qualified as a solicitor in 2009 under the guidance of our former senior partner, David Drake, and has been advising clients on a broad range of contentious matters since starting as a paralegal in 2006.

In respect of property and probate matters, his expertise includes disputes relating to property ownership; trusts of land; boundaries; rights of way, probate litigation, inheritance claims and disputes arising from the administration of estates and trusts.

In respect of commercial litigation, Sean has advised on various multi-track high net-worth and complex contractual and property disputes.

In respect of employment litigation, Sean has assisted a number of high net-worth employees in respect of unfair dismissal and discrimination claims.

Recognised for his strategic thinking and pragmatic advice, Sean works closely with his clients to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively while remaining focused on their wider personal and commercial objectives. Sean is experienced in all forms of dispute resolution, including negotiation, mediation and court litigation.

Away from the office, Sean lives in Brightlingsea and has two children. He enjoys walking, gardening and values the opportunity to spend time outdoors in the local countryside and along the Essex coast.
