We were delighted to receive this letter of thanks from Michelle Martin at the hospice earlier this year:
For over 42 years, Farleigh Hospice has been providing care and support to people affected by life-limiting illnesses and bereavement across mid Essex. They support individuals with a wide range of conditions – including lung disease, neurological conditions, heart failure, and cancer – helping people to live well and die well through both physical and emotional care.
It costs more than £21,271 every day to deliver those services. Although the hospice receives some NHS funding, it relies heavily on the generosity of its community to ensure care remains completely free for everyone who needs it. We are very proud to have played a small part in securing that.
